

Never thought my childhood obsession with 'Rocky IV' would come to much use in my professional career. How wrong I was. For this socially-driven, branded content campaign I creatively managed for Uproxx, we were tasked with coming up with a way to generate hundreds of thousands of votes for two new special edition flavors of Mountain Dew. It was called Dewcision 2016 -- and I oversaw creation of 15 content pieces, the creation of a voting widget and the paid social strategy that mandated we deliver 500,000+ votes in a few short weeks. We succeeded, using multiple team members in a crunch. Here's one piece I co-wrote in the process, pitting Ivan Drago vs. Shooter McGavin in the vote to end ALL votes.
