After seeing a handful of marketers miss the mark during the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was inspired by a LinkedIn post to write an article around brands that rose to the occasion in times of crises – and those who've failed miserably by either associating themselves in some way or outright failing to pivot at a sensitive time.
There's lots to be learned when it comes to getting it right. It's a delicate dance but when you do it well, it can win priceless amounts of good faith and earned media. Or it can draw a ton of negative attention your way.
