Horror films used to be my jam. Thanks to an early obsession in life with 'Friday the 13th' and all things 'Halloween,' I grew an affinity for the 80's slasher movie and especially the ones that seemed wildly implausible.
That's why 'X' marks the spot. Shot by writer/director Ti West in a style that pays homage to the 70s/80s horror films of yesteryear, 'X' stars Mia Goth and a many other talented actors who rent the Airbnb from hell from a set of demented old ranch hands. From the moment they arrive on the farm to shoot an adult film, there's a sense that their hosts might not be the kind of people who'd you'd call... accommodating.
