Monty Python. A Fish Called Wanda. The original 'Office.' I've always been a fan of British humo(u)r – and the bone-dry kind, even better.
That's why I'm happy to report the arrival of the new HBO horror-comedy series, 'The Baby.' Early on, it's more horror than comedy – but in it, actress/standup comic Michelle de Swarte plays an almost-40-year-old woman who just isn't having it with her girlfriends' little bundles of joy. Then, in an immaculate twist, she gets one of her own – a divine, unwanted gift from the heavens – and all hell breaks loose.
