By most accounts (and 20 Emmy nominations in 2021), the Apple TV+ series 'Ted Lasso' is the feel good salve-of-a-show that arrived just in time during the pandemic in 2020.
But it might just be the gruff, F-bomb dropping tough guy Roy Kent who steals the series when all's said and done. From his blunt-force honesty to his general giving 'zero fucks' attitude about most things, the 41-year-old British actor Brett Goldstein infuses the role of footballer Kent with the right dose of adrenaline, attitude and big, sweet heart.
