As a show, Hulu's 'A Teacher' probably gets a B-, but the performance of Nick Robinson as a 17-year-old high-school senior who falls for his English teacher (Kate Mara) gets high marks — as something that will make parents eternally grateful for homeschool. And that's one of the points of acting — to create a memorable performance after all, isn't it?
To that end, Robinson wins as horny-then-humbled Eric Walker, a high-school jock who somewhat blindly wanders into a buzzsaw his inner child won't forget anytime soon.
