Heartfelt. Funny. Well written. One of the biggest surprises of streaming this year has been Apple TV+'s 'Ted Lasso.' Perennially underrated actor Jason Sudeikis shines as Ted Lasso, the small-time American college football coach who takes over a British Premiere League soccer team.
Then there's British actress Hannah Waddingham, the woman who plays the team owner who put him there. The former 'Game of Thrones' Shame Nun is a standout on the series and a joy to watch as she shuttles between icy exterior and something much warmer in the center.
Can't recommend this one highly enough.
