As a washed-up, past-his-prime, former boyband member dead-set on making a comeback, Maxxx gives everyone who feels imprisoned by the pandemic a reason to feel better about themselves. Series creator O-T Fagbenle plays the titular character and does it well — a far cry from the dead serious work he's done on Hulu's 'The Handmaid's Tale.'
