When Hulu bought the rights to the romantic comedy 'Palm Springs' at Sundance 2020 about two people trapped in an infinite time loop, they had no idea that less than two months later, the world would be living a version of the same day over and over again, amid a global pandemic.
That's just one reason why this film starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti is one of -- if not -- the best to premiere since the world went into lockdown in early March. Other than its fun concept (that no doubt owes a debt to 'Groundhog's Day'), one of the reasons is Milioti's stellar performance, which I decided to tackle in a piece for Casting Networks.
