As far as I can tell, the 2023 Emmy season kicked into high gear right after the deadline passed for 2022 submissions. One of the early frontrunners for next year will be the workplace comedy known as 'The Bear' on FX. It feels as original as it does fun to watch. One of the series stars is Ayo Edebiri, who shines as the sous chef running the French brigade kitchen at The Original Beef of Chicagoland.
