Looking to plan a late-summer beach vacation? Here's a tip: Don't visit the one Gael García Bernal's character Guy ends up on in M. Night Shyamalan's new thriller 'Old.' Upon arrival, years tick off his life at a fairly rapid clip while his kids start to grow up in ways he couldn't possibly imagine.
'Old' won't be the best film you'll see this year, but it's entertaining -- and the 42-year-old Mexican actor does a fairly bang up job of summing up chronic disbelief, and wringing the emotion out of a character who shuttles between confusion and acceptance of his newfound fate.
