2020 may be the marker for perfect vision but for freelancers, the future's never been blurrier. With COVID-19 triggering mass unemployment overnight, the gig economy that was already thriving is now suddenly facing the prospect of over-saturation.
At least temporarily.
That's why I wrote this piece — for people new to the "field." Also as a quick refresher for existing freelancers now facing stiff competition being largely dependent on independent work and the income it brings.
